The 33rd annual Armadillo Christmas Bazaar will once again be at the Austin Convention Center. It remains the same truly Austin honky-tonk bar shopping experience that has made the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar one of the region's most beloved holiday traditions - just a bigger venue. This year it will once again be from 11 am to 11 pm every day from December 12th to December 24th.

There are 35 musical performances already booked on the Capital Metro Music Stage with more to come, a bar, food, over 130 local and regional fine artists and craftspeople, plus that special Austin feeling that can only be found here. This is the real, the original Armadillo Christmas Bazaar! Enjoy dancing in the aisles while shopping for fine art and distinctive gifts right here in downtown Austin. So come join us for a unique Austin tradition and show your support for the local artists and musicians who keep Austin cool.

AUSTIN BOAT SHOW TO FEATURE OVER 600 WATERCRAFT WITH ACTIVITIES FOR BOATING & OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS OF ALL AGES

The 2009 Austin Boat Show comes to the Austin Convention Center in downtown Austin on January 15-18, featuring over 600 different types of watercraft spanning 250,000 sq. ft. Set in the heart of the annual boat-buying season, will include cruisers, sailboats, fishing boats, wakeboard boats, ski boats, runabouts and personal watercraft. More than 10,000 visitors are expected to this year’s event, which will include Boater Education Classes and more activities than ever before specifically for children. The event is $8 for adults, $4 for seniors (65+) and children ages 7-12 and FREE for children under age 7.
