Guitar-drums-keyboard trio The Pharmacy might seem at first glance like your typical indie-pop band. Outside is a weird-pop amalgam of talented bands, including the surrealistic Moth, peppy and muscular Golden Bear, and, now with 100% fewer neon signs, The Laughing. DJ Richard Henry will also be on hand to sling tunes.

Inside, Lucy the Poodle is putting on her own show, with retro specialists The Ugly Beats, Death is not a Joyride, the Kinky Dans La Lune, and Many Birthdays.

On Thursday, free week again expands to both the inside and outdoor stages, with The Homopolice, Air Traffic Controllers and Dikes of Holland playing indoors. This is sure to be an intense show, especially given The Homopolices’ tendency for abrasive noise and live theatrics. And Air Traffic Controllers, with a line-up featuring Gerard Cosloy and King Coffee, is like a page out of alt-rock history. Outside, you can see the powerpop of Basic, Ripe and the head-turning garage of The Golden Boys.
