Mark Goodwin is a native of Kansas City, MO. Mark began his professional music career at the age of 16, singing the national anthem at the Big 8 Basketball Tournament in Kansas City's Kemper Arena, for 3 consecutive nights to a crowd of over 40,000 viewers. While in college, Mark sang for 2 years with the Houston Grand Opera Chorus. Mark began his blues career in 1988 playing with a band called the Blue Bloods at Joe's Generic Bar in Austin, TX. Mark joined Bobby Mack and Night Train in 1990, recording 4 albums with Bobby Mack, and 2 with Willie Foster, and many others. A veteran of 20 European tours, Mark has also toured in New Zealand. Mark has shared the stage with: James Cotton, Buddy Guy, Luther Allison, as well as John Ussery, Guy Forsyth, Johnny Moeller, Uncle John Turner, Alan Haynes, Bob Margolin, Lazy Lester, Derek O'Brien, and many others.
