Down by the riverside: The Blind Boys of Alabama with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, November 23, 2008, 7:30pm: New Orleans' legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band and vocal titans the Blind Boys of Alabama join forces to present this musical journey combining jazz and gospel hymns. The Blind Boys of Alabama do gospel like no one else, and Preservation Hall instantly transports us to the Big Easy. Sharing the stage, they carry their proud musical traditions on into the future in a moving live performance.
