Canadian roots rock singer songwriter Kathleen Edwards does a bit of country, a touch of folk and a lot of rock, with songwriting influenced heavily by Tom Petty and Neil Young. Her 2008 release, "Asking for Flowers," was nominated for the best Canadian album of the year, known as the Polaris Music Prize.
