October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we are holding this event to remember and honor the nearly 100 women who lost their lives to Domestic Violence last year in Texas. This event will offer poetry, theater, spoken word, an educational presentation, and will feature a performance by the one and only Public Offenders. In addition, we will hold a candlelight vigil as a way of recognizing domestic violence as a community problem that will take a community working together to solve. This is a way for women, and especially men, to learn what they can do to become part of the solution. ADMISSION IS FREE - DONATIONS WELCOME
