Pop punk/indie rock outfit known as The Academy Is released their third studio album, Fast Times at Barrington High,  in August of this year. Rollingstone magazine gave it four out of five stars, saying that it "straddles the Blink-182 styles of yesteryear and the arena polish of current Warped Tour bands." They will be at Emo's on Thursday night with alternative rockers Carolina Liar (whose members are mostly Swedish), and two young bands from Florida in We The Kings and Hey Monday.
