Demand for new material by the Mexican rock band Jaguares, which has had a strong following since its earlier incarnation as Caifanes, a darkly rocking outfit founded 20 years ago, has led their first album in three years to debut at No. 11 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. A big player in the rock en Español genre, Jaguares is playing a nationwide tour to promote the new release, including a date at Stubb's this Sunday. Fronted by guitarist/singer and songwriter Saul Hernandez, Jaguares plays direct, pure rock & roll music.
