Canadian indie rock band Tokyo Police Club released their debut album, Elephant Shell, in April of this year. It consists of fast drumbeats mixed with crunchy guitar riffs, driving basslines, and catchy songwriting. They're performing at Emo's on Friday with the equally good Athens garage rock The Whigs, and Austin's own Boxing Lesson.
