Fifth Generation Austinite Hosts Jewelry Trunk Show at Weekend Shopping Event

AUSTIN, Texas – October 2007 – Innovative accessory designer and fifth generation Austinite Brian Crumley is headed back to his hometown to share his eclectic Autumn/Winter 2007 jewelry collection. Crumley’s pieces, often described as bold, clean and always chic, will be the centerpiece of FactoryPeople’s pop-up shop on Saturday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Oct. 7 from 12 to 6 p.m. at 1325 S. Congress Ave. Throughout the weekend Crumley will be on-site to discuss his jewelry while models showcase the designs throughout the shop. Guest are also invited to sip the Crumley Cosmo, a raspberry champagne cocktail, and enter to win one of his signature designs ($200 value) while guest DJs spin on the turntables.

FactoryPeople, known for specializing in hard-to-find women's and men's cult designers, denim lines, and accessories, will also be featuring selections Obedient Sons, Morphine Generation, Sue Stemp, Pleasure Principle and McQ by Alexander McQueen.

About Crumley
Brian Crumley, a favorite among stylists, has been featured in a number of publications including W, WWD, Harpers Bazaar, French Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Nylon, Interview, Spanish Vogue, InStyle and many others. Since collaborating with Eventide at Gen Art 2004, Brian has become a runway regular with this season marking his fourth collaboration with VPL for FW07. He also worked with Indigo People and Rachel Comey to produce accessories for FW05. Crumley appeared in his own right as a featured accessory designer at Gen Art Fresh Faces 2005, returning yet again to compete in the Gen Art Styles 2006 International Styles Competition. In his first wholesale season he was picked up by Co-op Barneys New York to premiere in all 10 stores nationwide and appearing in the Co-op catalog.
