The Black and White Years are a four-piece outfit who are purveyors of both power-pop and new-wave styles music that is quickly catching on. Their self-titled debut album was produced by Jerry Harrison, the keyboardist and guitarist the Talking Heads, who may very well be their biggest fan. The band has been chosen to perform at the Austin City Limits Music Festival taking place next month, but this weekend they will play to a slightly smaller audience when they take the stage at Stubb's.
