Red Fez is celebrating “An Arabian Night,” an evening of music, fun, and Arabic culture with hostess Zein Al-Jundi on Friday, August 29th. The party is free to the public and begins at 8:00 p.m. and lasting until 11:00 p.m. In the tradition of Arabian Nights at Red Fez, there will be belly dancing, Arabic music and complimentary appetizers will be served.
“An Arabian Night is always a big event…and nothing livens up a party like belly dancing,” said Matt Luckie, owner of Red Fez. “Zein does a great job and, of course, Red Fez is the perfect setting.”
Zein Al-Jundi is at the helm - bringing her musical selections and knowledge of Syrian culture to the event. Born and raised in Damascus, Syria, Zein Al-Jundi began singing professionally at the age of five. She moved to the United States in 1982 where she attended the University of Texas, Austin. She currently produces her own events through her music booking and production agency WMD productions. In 2001, Zein opened her own retail import store and dance studio-The Arabic Bazaar and Zein’s Dance Studio. A popular mainstay at Red Fez, an Arabian Night will continue to serve as an occasion full of music, dancing, culture, and fun.
