An intriguing combination of literary songwriting and aggressive indie rock instrumentation, Meg & Dia have been tough to categorize since emerging from Utah in 2005. Founded by sisters Meg and Dia Frampton, the five-piece act play a unique mix of loud rock and folkie acoustic styles, making them difficult to pigeonhole. Allmusic calls it "straightforward, polished, punk-pop-inflected rock." The band first began to draw attention for their shows on the 2006 and 2007 Warped tours. At Emo's, fellow alt-indie rockers Jonezetta, Danger Radio and Dropping Daylight will open the show.
