The 2007 Austin City Limits Music Festival "Sound and Jury" winner Homer Hiccolm & the Rocketboys are a six-piece band out of Abilene whose brand of indie rock is well-crafted and well-played. Their ringing guitars, full-bodied keyboard and drumlines will match up well with the melodic, piano-driven style of Jets Under Fire and the subtle harmony and rhythym of the fresh-faced Dignan, who will both open the show for the Rocketboys tonight at Antone's.
