In preservation of a truly great musical era, Mike Hooker of Rock-A-Round Entertainment has launch Ready Steady Go! Fashioned after the classic variety shows that aired in the mid 60’s, Hooker will be spinning 45's of all your favorite Frat Rock, Garage Punk, Freakbeat, and Powerpop songs from the golden age. Each event will feature guest bands and DJ’s with an authentic look and sound, as well as retro lighting, vintage films, Go-Go dancers, and an overall feel that will stimulate all your senses.

The premiere shindig will include Scott Gardner from KOOP's Stronger Than Dirt radio show spinning impeccably danceable garage, psych, and glam selections. You'll also be graced with the sultry musical stylings of Eve and the Exiles performing live while vibrant Go-Go dancers take the stage and get the crowd riled up. You'll continue the trip down memory lane as vintage episodes of Hullabaloo take over the television screens.

The hot, new retro-themed dance party debuts on September 7th at Beerland, and then every First Friday thereafter. Retro mod attire is strongly encouraged as well as dancing shoes.
