listenlisten plays tragic freak-folk songs - self-described as "anarchana", some borrowing verses from obscure 19th century hymns and others with original lyrics about war and apocalypse. The music is carried by haunting choral arrangements paired with coarse yelling over guitar, banjo, brass, piano, organ, and carefully placed drums. Their debut ep is made out of wood.
