Lauren Gurgiolo is a mulit-instrumentalist and songwriter based out of Austin, TX. Playing guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and bass, Lauren works with the likes of the Brothers Lazaroff, Elizabeth McQueen, Neal Kassanoff, Laura Freeman, Abi Tapia, and many others in Ausitn and beyond. Lauren is steeped in the tradtions of American roots music, but approaches everything she does with a lean toward the experimental. How do notes and noises become a song? How do songs sound before theyre written?
