a faulty chromosome is a fuzzy mess of tremolo, hand-claps, 8-bit blips, water-damaged Mister Rogers records, mashed Casio chords and drum machine'd beats; indie-slop / shoegaze-bop / nowave-pop and/or bossanova-nova.they live in lovely austin, Texas. they just got back from a month-long, east-coast tour and are gonna do it again in a few weeks on the way to the Athens Popfest (hooray for sleeping on the floor!).their first full-length album, "as an ex-anorexic's six sicks exit,...", is available for free download on their MySpace page - myspace.com/afaultychromosome - or locally at Waterloo records, and stayed in the CMJ Top 200 for three months.
