On January 27, 2003 ‘Handsome’ Joel Svatek, stage manager for Emos, bartender, friend to many bands, son, brother, and all around great guy, was killed by a drunk driver after heading home from work. The Handsome Joel Foundation. The HJ Foundation is a non-profit organization who’s mission is to raise awareness of the dangers and consequences of drunk driving. Supersuckers and American Graveyard headline a great bill to benefit Handsome Joel Foundation's Safe Ride Program. Cost: $15...a good deal for a priceless show!
